An Ashram is a Sacred place! A Retreat in an Ashram is a moment of great solemnity; it is a rare opportunity, a Sublime blessing! Setting foot on the sacred ground of an Ashram in itself is already a blessing, all other blessings will depend on you to receive.

Those who live in this Ashram, their life is a retreat, it is Surrender, it is Selfless Service. Here, we do not have special periods of retreat, we are always in retreat, and we are also always ready to share with those who also seek to be in retreat.

Spiritual Retreat – Moving Towards the Sublime!
  • When there is a close observation of the mechanisms of what appears to be casual in its origin, it is Spiritual Retreat!
  • When attention is freed from the mechanisms of what appears to be casual and remains at the origin, it is “returning home"!
  • When the observation merges with the observer, it is the Supreme Realization! Pure Joy! Totality!
Going for a Spiritual retreat is to surrender to what is Highest in you. In terms of personality there may be several motivations: rest, relax, seeking answer for the questions and of the material life or the spiritual life, the deepening of practice ... but in reality has nothing to do with it ... Making a spiritual retreat is to surrender to the fire of the will of Self-Realization! In the silence, all your illusions emerge ... the challenge? To stay in the stillness, in silence! Personality is the misconception, the interface in the dream, for the dream. The desire to make a spiritual retreat is the desire to awake from the dream. When the fire of this desire arises, the person must surrender to this fire and stay on it. For those who have never had that moment of spiritual retreat, and want to come here in the Ashram, need to understand that everything here that you will encounter serves this purpose, the Spiritual Retreat. Possibly you will find a world completely different from anything you have ever met. The key is adapting and Surrender. It is normal to have a lot of expectations about what you will experience, the mind needs to feel in control at all times, although the obvious remains obvious that there is no control, yet the need remains. Bring your questions yes, brings all that, but come with an open mind, I assure you that it will not be like you expected, but if you give yourself to what you find here, it will be much better than you could ever imagine. A spiritual retreat is a solemn moment, of work, surrender, silence. It is in this stillness that all your illusions/suffering dissolve. In the beginning there will be a need to get out of silence, out of stillness, to socialize your way out of it, to continue seeking attention, affection, understanding, but if you can cut it all, and remain in stillness, you will know a glory never before experienced. Everything comes from Perfection, everything goes to Perfection, there is always only Perfection, Absolute Perfection is all that exists! If you don't recognize this Perfection, in yourself or in others, it's just your perception, correct it and be Happy! One of the greatest sources of suffering is criticism of oneself and others. Who is the critic? What are the criticisms based on? Criticism without knowing it, without really knowing yourself, and you suffer, you suffer without stopping...
I would like to be better... I should be more compassionate... I don't want to be hateful... I don't want to be jealous... I don't want to be angry... I don't want to be needy... I don't want to suffer... I'm not capable of doing this...I have to be better...I have to free myself...I have to change...I have to be better for others...and what a long list, which never ends...

The past and the future are just in your imagination! There is nothing other than your memory... yes I know you already know this, but why do you insist on hurting yourself? This habit is very strong, because you repeat it over and over! There is only this moment, and it is perfect. Everything you are right now is perfect.

Your vision is narrowed, you have no idea of the whole, all your actions are perfect, everything is part of something bigger. Appreciate the small screen you have at your disposal, free yourself from responsibilities, understand and accept the perfection of the moment, forget the past and the future.

You Are Perfection in motion, exactly as you are!

Smile at what you consider weakness, smile at what you consider imperfection, understand that all these ideas are the purest fruit of illusion!

Come into peace with yourself and with the world, train your eyes to recognize beauty, get rid of your prejudices, simplify that is your nature! Enter into peace with yourself, and you will enter into peace with the world! Narayana
