"Dear Lord, may the sweet nectar from Your Divine Name pour into my heart. May You grant me the blessing of loving You purely, sincerely even if for just an instance. May You awaken true Devotion in me, I solely wait for You." Narayana

"When Devotion has been tasted, you will want nothing else, it is more dear than life itself, because it is the source of life." Narayana

Introduction: “Divine Romance” is a Devotional retreat of meditation and silence with mantra. This retreat is for those who seek to plant the seeds of Devotion in their hearts, and learn to take care of these seeds, to nourish them, so that they can blossom and dissolve the apparent distance from the Sacred, from the Divine. It is for those who seek to know and surrender to God. Through the Sacredness of the mantra, the teachings, in this retreat format, you will have the necessary tools and circumstances to open and immerse yourself in Divine love.

Technique: The technique is Japa or the loud repetition of a Sidha Mantra, meaning, a mantra whose "efficacy" has been attested, through the usage of countless generations, through which countless seekers have found Liberation, God-Communion. The mantra will only be revealed at the beginning of the retreat.

Teachings: “The Bhakti Sutras of Shandilya” is a series of videos where Narayana comments on a famous work Attributed to Sage Shandilya, which portrays in a profound way all aspects of the path of Devotion. This is a work considered complementary to the “Bhakti Sutras of Narada”, as they approach the same theme from different angles. At the end of each day you will watch the videos which will bring you more understanding and inspiration.

Format: This is a Silent Meditation Retreat, which means that apart from the mantra chanting, it is in complete silence, it's 10 days long. There will be 10 hours a day of Meditation with the mantra, in the Meditation hall, and daily instructions concerning the technique and the spiritual path. There will be 2 simple vegetarian meals a day, lunch will be the last meal. We advise to take light meals, so that it does not disturb the practice, and we do not allow for complete fasting during the Retreat. In the last day if Narayana is in the ashram, it will be possible to participate in the Satsang where you will be able to clarify doubts of your spiritual path and of your retreat. In the absence of Narayana you can access the videos of his satsangs with the most pertinent questions and answers.

Accommodations: Our Ashram has male and female accommodation, where there are shared rooms 2 to 3 persons according to the size of the room, with shared bathrooms, to be distributed according to our availability. The accommodations are simple, have the basics needed for your stay and are within easy reach of the meditation hall. Their care is the responsibility of each participant.

To whom:  These retreats are for those who seek to plant the seeds of devotion in their hearts, or to increase their devotion. This retreat is for sincere Truth Seekers, who seek to begin their meditation practice in a serious way, or for those who seek to deepen their Spiritual practice for the sole purpose of Freedom, of Communion with God.

Who's sharing: These Retreats are conducted by the Swamis (monks).
